I’d love to help you finish the year with purpose

November is here!

I always love to use November for posting gratitude online. Obviously, it’s something I want to practice more than 1 month a year, but posting publicly is great accountability.

The reason I emphasize gratitude is we draw what we call.

When you spend your time and energy focusing on your worries, that is what you’ll receive.

When you spend your time and energy focusing on what you are grateful for, you will receive more of it.

It all comes down to choice, and you have the power to create your reality.

Start by practicing with me this month. Share what you’re grateful for. Post it loud and proud, so the universe hears it, and delivers more.

Head over to my FB page to join in

Also in November, I realize we are zipping to the end of another year!! Holy crud!

As you look back over 2019, are you where you wanted to be at this point? If so, how amazing! If not, what’s holding you back?

Personally, I find when I’m not getting where I want despite my best efforts it’s due to inner worries or sabotaging beliefs. The subconscious is a powerful beast. Yet, how do you reprogram the subconscious?

If you don’t mind, I’ll offer my solution. This is what has worked for me countless times, and I continue to go back to it every time I move to my next level (new level, new devil). I use the techniques offered in Crave – strategized movement coupled with meditation and journaling to reveal your subconscious beliefs that are stopping you from living the life you crave, along with wrap around holistic health and life techniques.

It is so powerful and effective. Here’s a couple of comments about the program

“At first I wasn’t so sure about doing the movement videos, but then I was surprised at how I got into them. I was really surprised at myself and how I was able to let go.”

“An area I struggled with for years was money, but the changes we made gave me a completely different feeling about it. This was one of the biggest impacts of this program for me, it was really huge”

“I loved this! You are so thorough in your information and give some great ideas!  It was really great in supporting what I am learning spiritually right now about flow in my life.  Thank you! 🙂

Xoxo”

It’s such an amazing and fun way to step into your greatness!

Crave is currently available for a ridiculously affordable price, but won’t be forever, so take advantage.

And remember, I am a mere person that cares about you living your best life, so if you have any questions, reach out to me. I am happy to talk with you.

Also, if you want a chance to learn more about it, and even experience it, I will be offering classes at Lotus Wellness.

Moving sucks!

Why sugar coat it?

Yes, the end result is great, yet the actual process of going through the move can cause a lot of stress and anxiety. The good news is that recognizing this led me to go into the process armed with my tools to keep my calm while my world was in upheaval.

Check out my journey 🙂

Moving week begins! 😱😁😂😭😰😏

Seems serendipitous that it’s happening around the new moon, which symbolizes new beginnings.

Since I want to begin on a positive note, I’m replacing worries with positive visualizations and mantras. Also, I have given myself a goal to take frequent breathing breaks this week.

Moving is so much more than transferring your belongings from one location to another.

There’s a mental and physical process of clearing out the old and beginning again with the new.

My move is a little bit of an upgrade for me, which has meant once again facing inner demons that I thought I had finally shut down. That a-hole voice that questions if I’ll be able to afford my new home ongoing – what if? – even though my old home was getting comparable in price. It’s that trick it does to make you worry all the time rather than enjoy what you have, as if you don’t deserve to experience growth and improvement.

It’s also a time of saying good bye – to people, memories, and even objects. This gorgeous chair isn’t coming with me. I’ve had it since I was a teenager, and it belonged to my great grandmother. Over the years, I’ve had its leg repaired, but the last time it didn’t take, and now the entire chair is starting to break down from being in poor alignment (much like people). I will miss this sweet, comfy girl.

Day 4 of the move brings a detour to attend classes for the better chunk of the day. Thankfully we only have about a load left after clearing out the things we will be gifting forward.

On Day 2 of the move I woke up at about 3:30am packed and lifted items all day. Yes, I had help, which I am so grateful for. The day ended a little after midnight. Then I got up again the next day (at a better time though 😜) to start again. So, we took a few minutes to pose with pumpkins on our stop to get something to eat. I was reminded of something this week….. I’m pretty amazing!

…and so are you!

We did it!!!

Celebrating the final load. Even with the help of movers, we did 9 loads in our amazing van in record setting heat. It was exhausting, yet these kids were fantastic.

I discovered that 75% of my belongings are in the kitchen 😋 Also, I was reminded that if we let ourselves, we can make things more stressful, which means we can also make them less.

Worrying is practicing what you don’t want to happen. Every time I caught myself doing it, I would quickly replace it with a visualization of a seamless move where everything fit into the house with ease.

What are you worrying about today?

Through all of the loading and unloading, packing and unpacking, we took some time to explore our new neighborhood.

When you feel most like you can’t take a break is when you should take a break ☺

The Truth About Your Busy Life & Abundance

Busy happens to the best of us.

Every year, summer blind sides me with it. Then next thing I know it’s time for fall activities again.

Busy is not ideal. It keeps you in fight or flight mode, which leads to stress, anxiety, depression, adrenal fatigue, and all kinds of subsequent health problems.

The first step is awareness, so you can create boundaries around your time. I, for instance, will go back to not scheduling meetings during family time. Our family time tends to be early in the day since we homeschool, so it’s easy to break this boundary. I have to be strong, but flexible, and forgiving of myself.

Do you feel like you’re “to do” list is getting longer, even though you’re busy all the time?

Then join us for this great talk to break down the myth on busy, and get some practical solutions for harmony in your life.

You don’t have to, you choose to!

The star of Bear Mountain.

Returning from time off is a whirlwind, and this has been no exception. It’s great to take some time to reflect on the joyful times as a reminder of why it was totally worth it.

And remember when things get busy, you don’t HAVE to do anything. You CHOOSE to do it!

Reach out if your busy has become overwhelming.

Are you shoulding all over yourself?

Are you still shoulding all over yourself?

We’re all guilty from time to time, but if we become aware that we’re doing it, then we can stop it.

When you are constantly saying or feeling like “I should be doing …” you create stress and overwhelm in your body, which over time will lead to anxiety or depression.

A great way to stop shoulding all over yourself is to have a plan. Create time strategies by prioritizing your values, so you feel like you should be doing exactly what you’re doing.

I can tell you that it’s a lifesaver, and something that someone gifted me when I was in tears from overwhelm. So, I decided to pay it forward. You can get the tools free at www.imperfectlyamazing.comalong with a free meditation to get you centered before you get started.

You’ve got this!

Do you know what part of your body to move to tap into creativity?

Me dancing with………. ummmm, me

I continually use these videos to get some movement time, and to open up the areas of my life, even with kid and dog underfoot.

Today, I am tapping into creativity. Creativity sounds like one of those things you only need when you’re going to create a work of art, or even more ambitiously, dare attempt a Pinterest project. Yet, it helps with so much more. It gives you a new way of looking at things, so you can creatively solve your problems. Suddenly the answers becomes clear.

Today’s reveal: As I create boundaries, I gain respect.

Do you know what part of your body to move to tap into your creativity?

Ask me about it this Saturday 8/17 at 10:30am at Raleigh ACT when I talk about how to strategically move your body to improve your life. I would love to see you ❤

Do you listen to your gut?

Do you listen to your gut?

The scientific explanation is that the instinctual messages you receive can be subconscious signals of information you haven’t cognitively processed yet. It can also be the hundreds of millions of nerve endings that connect the brain and the gut.

Either way, even science is saying it’s time to start listening.

A couple of months ago, I kept getting a feeling that I should visit my NY family in August. I was definitely (past) due for a visit, but it kept resurfacing to go in August. Here we are at the beginning of August, and I received a call over the weekend with bad news about the health of a family member.

My trip is already scheduled. There is no way I’m going to ignore that!

Sometimes, it’s hard to hear the messages though. We have to clear out the other noises, and practice self-trust. I can support you when you’re ready to start moving in this direction, and it’s really not that difficult.

By the way, the picture is of mint, which is calming and soothing for the gut 😉

You have to be willing to stretch to grow

The group at Actor’s Training Ground (minus 1). We finished up Movement for the Actor last night.

Most of the people that participate in this class have no dance experience. They really stretch their comfort zones, which feels challenging in the moment, but by the end they are victorious and accomplished.

You have to be willing to stretch to grow! Congratulations to another amazing group!

Doubts don’t have to derail you!

I had some doubts and blocks come to the surface late last week, and over the weekend, as I am pushing myself to my next level in a program.

This morning, I used my own movement program with reflective journaling to get to the root of the subconscious doubts, and…. it worked. Now I am addressing my doubts head on. I’m so glad to have this resource. Feel free to ask me about it if you want to see if it’s right for you.
