You don’t have to be busy to be successful

I feel like a total hypocrite right now.

I’m about to tell you that busy is not something to strive for. It keeps you in fight or flight, which creates anxiety and health problems.

Yet, I am wrapping up a very busy few weeks (see the bags under my eyes).

Busy happens to the best of us 😳, however, if you stay in tune with yourself and your schedule, you can manage it so it doesn’t take over.

In my case, I was scheduled well in advance, and anticipated it’s arrival, so I scheduled some recovery time.

Are you ready to create your masterpiece?

Time for another show!

It’s always amazing to watch the group start with nothing but a script on Monday, and perform an entire show including singing and dancing by Friday.

Yet their process for creating a show is essentially the same as the process for manifesting anything in your life.

1. Be open to learning
Sometimes step 1 is the most challenging. We can get caught up in our own perceived expertise, or we struggle with resistance. Resistance is a side effect of fear, and the fear of success is often greater than the fear of failure.

2. Repeat
Lather, rinse, repeat 😂 Practice what you have learned until it becomes second nature. Anything you do regularly becomes a habit.

3. Receive
You are allowed to receive good things and results. As a matter of fact, you deserve it. We all do, so it doesn’t mean you are full of yourself when you receive. Get comfortable with positive energy moving in your direction, and you will attract more.

Easy as 1, 2, 3! Yet, theory is often simpler than implementation. It takes finding the right motivation, accountability, and support.

I’m Revealing My Natural First Aid Kit

When I started learning about natural health and remedies, one of the first things I phased out was over the counter pain killers like acetaminophen and ibuprofen. I suppose it was fairly easy since they were not something that I regularly took.

When I reflect back searching for the reason I intuitively felt like I didn’t want it in the house anymore, I remember my daughter was a baby at the time, and it seemed like children’s acetaminophen was the go to recommendation for everything baby related. I knew I didn’t want that for her, or for me.

Most people consider painkillers completely harmless, yet over time they can contribute to gastrointestinal issues, kidney and liver toxicity. In other words, over time, the solution becomes the problem.

So, what to use now?

Often times, the need for pain relief is in connection with illness or chronic pain. Both of these are prevented with good ol’ fashioned healthy living. A diet consisting of unprocessed foods, physical activity, and managing stress helps keep immunity up and inflammation down. This reduces pain and other issues that even create a need for OTC painkillers.

However, situational stuff does come up, and we need some support. Over time I have created my own natural first aid kit. Here’s what’s in my kit:

  • Super Salve – for anything skin related, such as rashes, bites, scrapes, etc
  • Aches & Pains Salve – for bumps, bruises, muscle/ joint pain, sprains/ strains
  • Arnica Homeopathic Pellets – for bruises, swelling, injuries, arthritis and pain relief
  • Hypericum Homeopathic Pellets – for minor head injuries, nerve issues, dental injuries/ pain

and I have certainly saved the best for last. This is my go to, all around, keep it on me at all times remedy:

  • Rescue Remedy Drops or Pastilles – great for any situational physical or mental stress

I have seen Rescue Remedy do some amazing things. I offered it to someone who had a bad fall that busted her lip and caused swelling in her face. After taking Rescue Remedy, the pain and swelling went down, and brought her immediate relief. A friend’s son had an anaphylactic reaction to acetaminophen, so she gave him Rescue Remedy, which reduced the swelling immediately. It has helped with test anxiety, stress, and countless falls. I could go on and on about it.
